Election 2013: Filing of nomination papers begins today
Filing of nomination papers the upcoming general elections will start today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Offices of District Returning Officers and Returning Officers will remain open on Sunday to receive nomination papers from the potential candidates for the National and Provincial Assemblies.
According to sources, the process of filing nomination papers would continue till 29th of this month.
The scrutiny of nomination papers would be held from 30th of this month to 5th of next month.
Last date for filing of appeals against decisions of the Returning Officers regarding acceptance or rejection of the nomination papers would be 9th of next month.
Tribunals would decide appeals by 16th of next month.
Last date for withdrawal of candidature will be 17th and revised list of candidates would be published on 18th of next month.
The elections will be held on 11th of May.
