Shumaila Ranas bail confirmed in credit card scandal
Lahore session court has confirmed the bail of former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Shumaila Rana in a credit card scandal after the statement of the shopkeeper while the plaintiff registered an appeal for the cancellation of the case. The lawyer of Shumaila Rana told the Additional Session Judge Sheikh Sajjad that shopkeeper Muhammad Iqbal has said in a statement, he dont recognise Shumaila Rana, even he dont know when she came for shopping. The court was told that the plaintiff of the case had registered an appeal to cancel the case. After this, the court said that it could not reject the appeal of Shumaila Rana. Earlier, Muhammad Iqbal told media that Shumaila stole a credit card and shopped on it from his shop and he provided her footage to media. Talking to media after the confirmation of bail, Shumaila Rana said, It is the victory of truth.
