Khanewal doctor removes 15 Kg tumour from woman's body
Patient is recovering fast
KHANEWAL (Web Desk) - A consultant surgeon, after a surgery at the Khanewal District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital on Friday, removed a big 15kg tumour from a woman's body.
Sources associated with the hospital said Dr Rashid Minhas operated on Haseena Bibi, 27, and removed the tumour successfully.
They said the patient was recovering fast and her family expressed great delight and gratitude towards the medic on this achievement.
A tumour is a solid mass of tissues that forms when abnormal cells group together. Tumours can affect bones, skin, tissues, organs and glands. Many tumours are not cancer. But they still may need treatment.
