MUMBAI (Web Desk) – It has been claimed that Katrina Kaif's husband, Vicky Kaushal, auditioned for the 2012 Romantic film "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" directed by Yash Chopra but was unsuccessful and rejected subsequently.
Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, played the role of Major Samar Anand, while Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma also played central roles.
During an interview with the Indian media, actor Sharib Hashmi, who was part of the film, revealed that Vicky Kaushal was supposed to play a character named Zain, and he even auditioned for it. However, the film's managing team was not impressed by Vicky Kaushal's performance and rejected him.
Later, Vicky Kaushal made his debut as a lead actor in the 2015 drama film "Masaan" and later appeared in Anurag Kashyap's psychological thriller "Raman Raghav 2.0" (2016). Furthermore, he worked in films like "Raazi," "Manmarziyaan," and "Sanju."
