In a tweet, the actor shared his shock and said that Ray Stevenson's passing was a great loss and that it was a wonderful experience working with him. He wished for Ray Stevenson's soul to rest in peace.
Jr. NTR also extended his condolences to the family of the late actor and mentioned that his thoughts and prayers were with them during this difficult time.

Ray Stevenson portrayed the character of British Governor Mr. Scott in the Oscar winning Indian film RRR. Mr. Scott was depicted as a racist and cruel character, specifically targeting the character Komaram Bheem, played by NTR' Jr. in the movie.
Ray Stevenson passed away on May 21, just a few days before his birthday. An Italian publication La Repubblica claimed, the 58-year-old actor was hospitalized following a medical emergency on the island of Ischia. He was on the island to film the movie Cassino on Ischia.
The actor gained recognition among American audiences for his role as Titus Pullo, a morally ambiguous soldier, in the HBO series Rome.
