“Gangubai Kathiawadi” bags ten filmfare awards

MUMBAI (Dunya News) - Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt's film "Gangubai Kathiawadi" has won 10 Filmfare Awards.
Renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film was awarded Best Film, Best Director for him, and Best Actress for Alia Bhatt. Actor Rajkumar Rao was awarded Best Actor for his outstanding performance in the Harshavardhan Kulkarni’s film "Badhaai Ho".
Actresses Tabu and Bhumi Pednekar were jointly awarded the Best Actress (Critics) Award for their performances in "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" and "Badhaai Ho", while in critics category Sanjay Mishra was awarded Best Actor for his performance in "Vadh".
Ankush Giddam was awarded Best Male Debut Actor for the film "Jhund", and Andrea Kevichüsa was awarded Best Female Debut Actor. Senior actor of the Bollywood industry, Prem Chopra, was also honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award on this occasion.
