Director Homi Adajania rules out sequel to 'Cocktail'

Adajania further elaborated that he loves to take risks and embrace change

MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Homi Adajania, the renowned director of the Bollywood film Cocktail, has revealed that he has no intention of making a sequel to the hit film. Speaking to the media, Adajania explained that he is not interested in repeating himself and wants to explore new challenges in his work.

Adajania further elaborated that he loves to take risks and embrace change, which is what keeps his work exciting and fresh. He added that he enjoys doing something that scares him and this is what motivates him to create new and innovative projects.

In another statement, Adajania spoke about his desire to collaborate with Deepika Padukone again, but only when they have the right material to create something magical together. He praised Padukone's talent and expressed his eagerness to work with her again.

Cocktail, released in 2012, is one of the biggest hits of Bollywood and featured a star-studded cast, including Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, Diana Penty, Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani, and Randeep Hooda. Despite its success, Adajania remains firm in his decision not to revisit the film with a sequel, citing his passion for exploring new horizons in his work.
