The documentary offers an insight into Gomez’s mental health struggles

NEW YORK (Web Desk) - Selena Gomez said she “used myself as a sacrifice” by documenting her life so that others would know the importance of making mental health a priority.

The documentary, filmed over six years by director Alec Cashishian, offers an insight into Gomez’s mental health struggles, a lupus-induced kidney transplant, and bipolar diagnosis.

“I think someone has actually asked me if I think I’ve done too much. And I’m not going to lie, there were probably some moments that were terrible to present.” Just killing in the building Starr said.

“But at the same time, if you take something away from it, I hope people understand that my goal here is to have a connection.

“I used myself as a scapegoat so people could have difficult conversations. But I’m also going to crawl in a hole for a few months now, so no one can see me for a while. I’ve been through a lot. More done,” he added.

Selena Gomez also discussed her relationship and very public breakup with Justin Bieber without acknowledging his name in her film.
