Indian extremists accuse Shah Rukh of spitting at Lata Mangeshkar's body
MUMBAI (Dunya News) – Indian extremists have accused Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan of spitting at Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar’s dead body on her funeral day.
The Indian singer breathed her last on February 6. She was admitted to a city hospital in early January this year, after she tested positive for Covid-19 and was also diagnosed with pneumonia.
Several prominent personalities including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended her funeral.
Shah Rukh Khan also paid tribute to the legendary singer by raising his hands and reciting a dua but when he lowered his facemask to blow air on her, some extremists misunderstood his gesture and alleged that he spit on her dead body.
Dozens of netizens defended their superstar and wrote blowing air is a signal of blessings in Islam religion.
