False posts said Kasautii Zindagi Kay actor died of cancer
(Web Desk) - A lot of rumours on social media claimed Indian TV actress Shweta Tiwari to be dead. She too became victim of death hoaxes which have irritated several celebrities in past.
False claims saying Kasautii Zindagi Kay actor died made husband Abhinav Kohli break his silence who rejected such reports. He told media his wife is alive and going well in her life.
36-year-old Shweta Tiwari is not alone to be claimed dead on social networking sites. Amitabh Bahcchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Farida Jalal, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Dilip Kumar and Ayushmann Khurrana have earlier had the same experiences as her.
Bollywood stars who fell prey to the death rumours were forced to reject the reports through media. Such fake speculations often originate from Facebook fan pages of Bollywood, Hollywood and sports personalities.
Shweta Tiwari was said to be dead by a fan page of Sakshi Tanwar, an Indian TV star. The post read, “I feel very sad and shocked on knowing that Shweta Tiwari (Prerna) of Kasautii Zindagi Kay lost the battle with life and is no more. RIP Shweta. Balaji Telefilms and the whole team will miss you.”
The matters become somewhat confusing when real celebrity pages start to buy such fake death reports. Tiwari has herself not given any statement to the media but her family clarified the matter and revealed that she was alive, healthy and well.
