Farida Jalal becomes victim of death hoax
Another Bollywood celebrity becomes a victim of a death hoax.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - On Sunday, news that Bollywood veteran actor Farida Jalal has passed away started doing rounds on social media.
#FaridaJalal trended on Twitter where fans from all around started to mourn her death, paying tribute to the much loved actress.

However, the actress has dismissed death rumors saying that "I am hale and hearty."
"I don’t know where these baseless rumors are coming from. Initially, I laughed, but from last 30 minutes my phone has been constantly ringing and everybody is asking the same question. It’s a bit irritating, I wonder why people spread such rumors," she said.
Farida Jalal is not the first celebrity to have been a target of the death hoax.
Earlier, Amitabh bachan, Dilip Kumar and Yo Yo Honey Singh also became the victim of fake death news on social media.
