'Lafangey Parindey' lead pair enthralls fans in Mumbai
Fans of the upcoming Bollywood flick 'Lafangey Parindey' (Carefree Birds) had a special gallery view of the lead stars, as they participated at a promotional event in India's entertainment capital Mumbai on Friday. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the movie's plot revolves around an edgy love story involving a street boxer who fights blindfolded and the visually challenged heroine who wants to make it big as a dancer. The film, with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone as the lead pair, is set for an August 20 release. The cast of 'Lafangey Parindey' interacted with their fans at a residential colony in Mumbai city, where they had come to witness a 'Dahi Handi', the Hindu tradition of breaking of a cream filled pot suspended high up on wires by group of boys imitating antics of God Krishna and his friends. I am enjoying it a lot. This is the first time I have come here. I am having a lot of fun, said Padukone. Padukone and Neil danced to the soundtrack of the film, making it an unforgettable event for the fans. The film is set to release, worldwide, on Friday under the Yash Raj Films banner.
