Birdman bags four awards on Hollywood's biggest night.
Hollywood (United States) (AFP) - Dark comedy "Birdman" won the best picture Oscar on Sunday, soaring to Academy glory with four awards on Hollywood s biggest night.
The film bested seven other contenders: "American Sniper," "Boyhood," "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "The Imitation Game," "Selma," "The Theory of Everything" and "Whiplash."
