Madhuri Dixit, a flawless actress known for her remarkable dancing skills, has turned 46 Wednesday.

Soon she was a star after delivering phenomenal performances in movies like Saajan , Tezaab , Khalnayak and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun , riding on millions of hearts. The actress has also been awarded Padma Shree in 2008, for her contribution to films and dance.
With the movie Gaja Gamini (2000), she also enjoyed the glory of being a muse to the most celebrated Indian painter M.F. Husain. The actress has a dignified place in the Indian film industry, even after her marriage with Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene.
