Muhammad Iqbal Bahoo, a sufi singer passed away on Saturday in Lahore.

Iqbal Bahoo was born in India’s district Gurdaspur, but migrated to Pakistan after Independence, and settled in Lahore. Iqbal Bahu mastered the Sufi tradition of the well-known Sufi saint Sultan Bahoo.He sang many Sufi songs for Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television and was honoured with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz in 2008.
