KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police arrested three robbers and recovered weapons after an ‘encounter’ with them in Nabi Baksh area here on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
Police were informed about the presence of three robbers in the area.
When police reached their hideout, the robbers opened fire at the law enforcers. Police retaliated and injured them, who were later arrested.
Looted valuables, cash and weapons were seized from them. Further investigation was under way.
Police shifted the injured robbers to hospital and registered a case against them.
Police have intensified security and patrolling in the area to ensure law and order.
The injured robbers were stated to be out of danger. Police expect more arrests with the investigation from the arrested robbers.
Initial report reveals that the arrested robbers are history-sheeters and involved in dozens of heinous crimes.
