Armed men had badly thrashed a security guard over the parking issue
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The prime suspect involved in thrashing a security guard in a Lahore's car parking lot have yet to be arrested.
The guard was badly thrashed in the parking lot in the Defence Housing scheme a couple of days ago.
Police said heated arguments were exchanged between the security guard and some armed men over the parking issue. The armed men then badly beat the security guard after coming out of the vehicle.
A case was registered against five unknown suspects in the Defence B police station. Two suspects Tanzeel and Adnan were later arrested by the police, but the prime suspect couldn’t be arrested yet.
Addressing a press conference, DIG Operations Ali Nasir Rizvi said that two SMGs, 29 magazines and hundreds of bullets were recovered from the accused.
He added that raids were being conducted to arrest three remaining suspects. The prime suspect of tragic incident was Ahmad Mayo who was sitting at the front seat at the time of firing and torture on the security guard.
“All those involved including the prime suspect would be arrested soon,” DIG said.
A special team was also constituted a day earlier headed by a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) but the prime suspect couldn’t be arrested.
