The suspects were allegedly looting a house when police arrived
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The police of the provincial capital killed three robbers during an alleged encounter in Korangi town area of Karachi. The dead robbers were allegedly trying to rob a house.
According to SSP Korangi, the robbers entered a house with intention to rob it. However, after the incident was reported the police party arrived at the scene in time. Upon seeing the police arriving, the robbers opened fire on police.
In the exchange of fire all three suspects were brought down, whereas the family residing in the house remained safe. The police have claimed to recover weapons from the dead suspects’ possession and the dead bodies were shifted to the hospital.
