Robber shot dead by security guard in Karachi

Police added that the dead body of the robber will be shifted to a hospital for identification.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A robber was shot dead by a security guard near the Anda Mor area in North Karachi on Sunday.
SSP Central Karachi said the security guard Waqar Ahmad was having breakfast at a local eatery when two robbers riding a motorcycle started looting people sitting there. The robbers also snatched the guard's mobile phone and as he resisted they opened fire, to which the guard also retaliated with firing that resulted in killing one robber while the other managed to escape.
A pistol and bullets were recovered from the dead robber. Police have shifted the dead body to a hospital for postmortem and further investigation is underway.
