Ramiz Raja’s opinion over drop-in pitches rejected

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Recently ousted Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja’s opinion over drop-in pitches had been rejected.

Recently, former Pakistan ace all-rounder Shahid Afridi launhed a broadside at Mr Raja over his comments on the Rawalpindi pitch in a Test match against England.

Mr Afridi said, “Why cannot we good tracks in our country”, adding that he was shocked to hear what Ramiz was saying.

Continuing to talk over the matter, Mr Afridi said, “ It’s been while now that the country is witnessing international matches. Ramiz talked about turning track but I feel in such conditions, there is a need of something big.”
