LAHORE (Dunya News) – Kamran Akmal scored fastest fifty in PSL history by achieving the landmark on 17 balls.
Previously, the record was held by the master-blaster Luke Ronchi who did it off just 19 balls against the Karachi Kings on March 18 in Dubai.
Currently, Yuvraj Singh and Chris Gayle hold the record for the fastest fifty in international T20 by doing it off just 12 balls.
Kamran Akmal was caught in the cover region while trying to deposit another six in the stands. He scored 77 runs off 27 balls.
The match has been limited to 16 overs due to delay caused by rain.
