Test skipper Misbah ul Haq announced retirement from international cricket
(Web Desk) – As soon as Misbah-ul-Haq announced his retirement from Test cricket, fans as well as renowned cricketers paid tribute to Pakistan’s most successful Test captain on Twitter.

Saeed Ajmal, Shahid Afridi and other cricketers congratulated Misbah on his successful career and expressed best wishes for his future prospects. Ajmal praised the Test skipper for bringing back honour of the green flag while Afridi admitted that it was a great pleasure playing with Misbah.

The fans of ‘King Misbah’ shared tons of messages on Twitter where most of them didn’t welcome his decision of retiring after the West Indies Test series. People agree that Misbah was still fit to play more as he has been the longest unchanged captain in Pakistan’s cricketing history. He remained the skipper for 6 years and 8 months.
Even the PSL franchise Islamabad United paid tribute to their skipper.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan had revealed that the series against West Indies would be the last for skipper Misbah-ul-Haq. The Test skipper had already taken retirement from Twenty20 and ODI formats.
