Misbah hopeful PSL will bring out new talent

Islamabad United captain said emerging category in PSL is of extreme importance.
SHARJAH (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan Test Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq is hopeful that Pakistan Super League (PSL) will bring out new cricketing talent in Pakistan and said in an interview that this event is giving players a lot of benefits.
Islamabad United captain said emerging category in PSL is of extreme importance, and it would not be wrong if it is called as the future of Pakistan cricket.
Misbah-ul-Haq said performance of Hasan Ali, Mohammad Nawaz and Asghar improved a great deal after playing first edition of PSL. He further added that Pakistan has also discovered players like Shadab Khan and Amad Butt who are not only good bowlers, but also useful batsmen and wonderful fielders.
The Test skipper praised the performance of Mohammad Irfan junior and said he is a remarkable bowler with a bright international career ahead of him. Misbah also seemed impressed with batting technique of Fakhar Zaman.
On a question regarding Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif, Misbah said team’s performance is affected after their suspension, but Islamabad United have all the abilities to defend their title and win it for second consecutive time.
