Sharjeel's father believes PCB investigation will prove that his son is not guilty

HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – While talking to media, Sharjeel Khan’s father defended his son and claimed that the investigation by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will prove his innocence.

He commented that the news of cricket corruption in Pakistan Super League (PSL) second edition made him very disappointed. On the other hand, Sharjeel Khan himself refrained from comment.

The family of corruption accused batsman believes that a conspiracy is being propagation against him. Sharjeel’s father expressed hope that the investigation will clear his son’s name from the fixing scandal.

Earlier, left-arm pacer Muhammad Irfan was cleared of match-fixing charges. Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif were suspended from PSL 2017 for alleged corruption and violation of anti-corruption code.
