Muhammad Irfan cleared of match-fixing charges
Irfan, Shahzeb Hassan and Zulfiqar Babar have been cleared of match-fixing allegations.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has cleared left-arm pacer Muhammad Irfan of match-fixing charges today (Saturday).
Earlier today, Pakistan Super League (PSL) Chairman Najam Sethi confirmed that anti-corruption unit of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has questioned left-arm pacer Muhammad Irfan in connection with his alleged involvement in fixing scandal however he does not face any immediate suspension.
In a message posted on Twitter, Sethi revealed that other players including Shahzeb Hassan and Zulfiqar Babar were also questioned but they will continue to play the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Najam Sethi further announced that PCB’s anti-corruption unit will continue to protect Pakistan Super League (PSL) from the menace of corruption.
The statement comes a day after Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif, who were Irfan’s teammates at the Islamabad United, were provisionally suspended and sent back home for investigation by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
