After progress from Indian side, PCB Chief Executive Najam Sethi informed Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar about the final decision of sending the team. As soon as Nisar granted permission to the team, Sethi addressed the media and announced the final verdict of Pakistan. Pakistan cricket team will fly to Kolkata tonight (March 11) from Lahore via Dubai.

Indian Interior Minister Rajnath Singh said that Pakistan team will be provided with full security and that everyone will be safe in India.
