Najam Sethi invites PM Nawaz, Imran Khan to Dubai for PSL final

Sethi requested all the cricket fans to start trendin 'join us in Dubai' on Twitter.

DUBAI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Super League (PSL) chairman Najam Sethi on Monday invited Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to Dubai for the tournament’s final.

In a statement on social networking site Twitter, Najam Sethi urged the both prominent leaders to put the politics aside and join the teams in final match.

Besides inviting the both, Sethi requested all the cricket fans to start a trend, building pressure on PM and Khan to “join us in Dubai”.

The final is due on February 23.

PSL is a success and that it is a great source of learning as young players will be playing in the tournament with senior international players which will make them learn a lot.

The PSL have 69 local and 29 foreign players, with high profile names in West Indian Chris Gayle and Darren Sammy, former England batsman Kevin Petersen and Australia s Shane Watson.

On the financial side, bringing the league to Pakistan soil as soon as possible is key to its lasting success.
