India demand share in Indo-Pak cricket series' earnings

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) had also asked for the money for holding the series in their country.
DUBAI (Dunya News) – The confusing Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has imposed another condition for holding the Indo-Pak cricket series by demanding share in the earnings of the tournament that is possibly to be held in December.
The series may bring huge profit for the economy of Pakistan which was not digested by Indian authorities who sought their share whereas the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) had also asked for the money for holding the series in their country.
On the other hand, BCCI will conduct a meeting of working committee on Friday while Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is also waiting for the green signal from Prime Minister of Pakistan (PM) Nawaz Sharif over the matter of pattern-in-charge.
According to sources, the mediator and the president of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Giles Clarke will officially announce the schedule of the series on November 27.
Earlier, deadlock over a proposed series between arch-rivals India and Pakistan has ended up as the both countries are likely to play cricket series in neutral venue Sri Lanka from December 20 to January 3.

It was revealed that Sri Lanka has been decided as a venue for the forthcoming bilateral series between Pakistan and India. It was reported that Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) wanted the decision to be announced either by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) or jointly with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
‘We will be more than happy to host high profile matches between India and Pakistan,’ Sidath Wettimuny, chief of SLC Board said on Monday morning.
The BCCI chief Shashank Manohar has proposed three ODIs and two Twenty20 matches.
The series would commence on December 20 and will end on January 3 whereas most of the matches are thought to be played in Colombo, but Kandy was also considered in this regard.
