UAE's astronaut shares picture of Makkah from space
(Web Desk) – UAE’s astronaut Sultan AlNeyadi shared a picture of Makkah from the space.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Today is Arafat Day, a pivotal day during Hajj, that reminds us that faith is not just about belief, but also action and reflection. May it inspire us all to strive for compassion, humility, and unity. Here’s a view of the holy site of Mecca that I captured yesterday.”

AlNeyadi is on NASA’s six-month mission to the International Space Station (ISS) and he shares updates on his trips from there. He had also shared pictures of Majid-al-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabvi in Ramadan.
More than 2.5 million pilgrims have gathered in Mina to participate in the Hajj rituals.
