QUETTA (Dunya News) – Thirty more Pakistanis from Iran reached the country on Wednesday since the US-Israel war on Iran.
The series of repatriation of Pakistanis living in Iran continued for the 38th day of the war.
According to the district officials, 30 people returned home through the Gabd Ramdan Border, while a total of 3,021 people have returned to Pakistan through this route so far.
On the other hand, a total of 4,077 people have returned through the Taftan border during the 38 days. Similarly, 7,098 people have returned home through the Gabd Ramdan and Taftan borders since February 28.
Furthermore, officials further said that those returning to Pakistan include pilgrims, fishermen, labourers, traders, and residents of Iran and Oman.
World leaders have hailed Pakistan and other countries for their active role in facilitating the ceasefire between the US and Iran.
The two-week ceasefire has also drawn widespread international support, with countries and global organizations highlighting the opportunity to advance lasting stability in the Middle East.
