Summary Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif said that modern system of urban transport is being set up in the city.
While reviewing progress and performance of new transport system in a session, Shahbaz Sharif said that CNG buses would be introduced in big cities like Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Bahawalpur. It aims at providing facilities of transport to masses on priority basis, he vowed.He said that the project of Bus Rapid Transit System is under process.Lahore Transport Company chairman Khwaja Ahmad Hassan said he would meet the Federal Minister for Petroleum and discuss the matter of provision of CNG gas to public transport without any delay.
