Summary Dr Saeed Ilahi said demand for resignation of CM on PIC issue is just a political stunt.
Punjab Parliamentary Secretary for Health said that the issue is being probed; the persons involved in the mishap would be tried under the Drug Act.While talking to the media in front of the Punjab Assembly, Dr Saeed said that six more sub-committees have been formed to conduct an inquiry into the matter; public would be informed about facts within one or two days.He said that a pharmaceutical company has been sealed on a priority basis while other companies have been put under the watch.He said that a handout regarding casualties would be issued on a daily basis. He said that about 8,000 patients have been informed about side effects of medicines they are using and the others are being contacted for cooperation in this regard.
