LAHORE (Web Desk) - The Lahore deputy commissioner has issued strict instructions to officers to ensure two-day closure of the private offices as directed by the Lahore High Court in the anti-smog case.
On the orders of the high court, instructions have been issued to keep the private offices close on Friday and Saturday from Dec 7, 2022 to Jan 15, 2023 . The deputy commissioner has issued instructions to all assistant commissioners to have the order implemented. He said the violators would be brought to the book.
A notification was issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), directing the officials to ensure compliance of the high court order.
