Govt's appeal against Shahbaz Sharif going abroad fixed for hearing in SC
A two-member bench of Supreme Court headed by Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan will hear the case on May 25.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Supreme Court (SC) has fixed for hearing the federal government s appeal against allowing Shahbaz Sharif to go abroad, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
A two-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan will hear the case on May 25. Justice Sajjad Ali Shah is other member of the bench. The Supreme Court issued notice to the Deputy Attorney General in this regard.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) had allowed opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif to go abroad after which the federal government has challenged the decision of the LHC in the Supreme Court.
