Lahore's Eastern Bypass closed due to dense fog

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Eastern Bypass of Lahore was closed for traffic due to dense fog on late Friday night. The Eastern Bypass was closed from 11:00pm on Friday till 8:00am on Saturday for all kind of traffic, Dunya News reported.
According to Motorway Police sources, the passengers will not be able to travel through Eastern Bypass to reach on the M2, N5 and Sialkot Motorways. Passengers will be able to reach Sialkot Motorway from Kala Shah Kaku during closure of Eastern Bypass.
On the other hand, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
Met Office said, cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country while, cloudy weather with chances of rain (light snowfall over hills) in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Potohar region and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa during next 24 hours..
Foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab including Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur and Multan. Fog is likely to prevail in Sukkur and Larkana Divisions in Sindh during the morning hours.
