Qureshi stresses need for unity, solidarity and cooperation to fight Covid-19
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has stressed the need for unity, solidarity and multilateral cooperation to fight Covid-19 pandemic.
He stated this in his video message at China-Afghanistan, Pakistan-Nepal Quadrilateral Foreign Ministers Video Conference on cooperation against Covid-19 today.
He said that I could not attend this important conference due to my busy schedule, so I requested the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Khusro Bakhtiar to attend this conference.
The Minister said China, Pakistan, Nepal and Afghanistan are regional countries and they must learn from each other s experiences in dealing with Covid-19.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that he would like to congratulate the Chinese leadership for convening a four-nation conference on such an important issue as COVID-19.
