Impossible to minus PM Imran: Fawad Chaudhry
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that Imran Khan is the Prime Minister of the country, it is impossible to minus Imran Khan.
Speaking exclusively in the program Ikhtalafi Note on Dunya News, Fawad Chaudhry said that opposition has no leader and they are fighting. If Bilawal had introduced reforms as the Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, then his stature would have increased.
He said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman, instead of becoming the chief minister, went straight to the National Assembly (NA) and blew himself up. You cannot become a leader by giving speeches in the NA, he added.
Fawad Chaudhry further said that PPP has no chance of winning elections in the Punjab and the PML-N is also facing the same situation as the leadership battle is going on in PML-N.
In response to a question asked regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology said that we have an issue of communication within PTI.
He further said that the opposition parties have only one problem with Imran Khan and that is accountability. In the first year we wasted time here and there, the pending cases should reach a logical conclusion. The Prime Minister has no quarrel with anyone, PM just wants to take all the cases to a logical conclusion, he added.
Replying to a question about National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Fawad Chaudhry said that PML-N and PPP had abused NAB on a daily basis even though both the parties had resorted to nepotism in NAB.
He further said that justice system, accountability, the Election Commission (EC) need to be fixed, the opposition has only criticized and has not given any positive suggestions.
The Federal Minister said that our own shortcomings and inadequacies are hurdles. No one can carry out party reforms except Imran Khan.
When asked about minus one, he said that Imran Khan is the Prime Minister of the country and it is impossible to minus Imran Khan.
Replying to a question regarding Jahangir Tareen, the Federal Minister said that Jahangir Tareen was playing an important role to solve the problems within PTI.
