Bilawal hoped that the US-Taliban peace agreement would yield positive results.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday said that the efforts to bring former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif back to Pakistan is government’s hypocrisy.

Talking to media in Lahore on Tuesday, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should cry foul before the nation, adding that why did the government let the former prime minister go abroad if he was a criminal.

To a question, he said that Nawaz Sharif never gave importance to the parliament when he was in power, adding that he has no benefit in his opposition as the PML-N supremo is not in power.

The PPP chairman said that the government had said that it would not go to the IMF, however; they did not keep their promise, adding that the IMF package should be in the public interest.

Regarding US-Taliban peace agreement, Bilawal expressed concern over the agreement and said that it looks like the entire focus of the US administration is on the elections.

He further hoped that the peace agreement would yield positive results.
