KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has on Tuesday said his daughters Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari are voice and strength of women.
The erstwhile president directed the Sindh government to provide protection and facilities to the participants of women’s march. All female leaders of PPP completely support the march, he stressed.
Asif Ali Zardar said PPP, which is steadfast on the philosophy of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, is a guarantee of women’s rights. The mindset of considering women weak and inferior will be defeated, he stressed.
He said Benazir Bhutto overcame ruthless and cruel dictatorship and her life is a guideline for women whose equal rights in the society must be acknowledged.
