Nation needs to carry Quaid's ideology forward: Firdous Ashiq Awan

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said that everyone needs to work for the cause of Prime Minister Imran Khan, and carry Quaid’s ideology forward.
She expressed that we all need to stop thinking about self interest and focus on the national interest. “Gandhi’s ideology is being buried in India today. We have to take the ideology of our Quaid forward,” she expressed, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan have always worked keeping national interest in mind.
Dr Firdous asserted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief organiser Saifullah Khan Niazi has taken on a difficult task, and worked really hard with Ijaz Chaudhry to organize the party. She further said that all plunderers are standing together and today, a group in the country is fighting to protect its personal interests.
“A leader who stays true to his ideology is always successful,” she said, and added: “Everyone has to carry forward the cause of Imran Khan.”
Earlier, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan expressed confidence on Saturday that Pakistan would observe the path toward prosperity in the year 2020.
Speaking to the media after attending an event in a college in Sialkot, she asserted that the government had allowed former premier Nawaz Sharif to go abroad for medical treatment citing report of his medical examination by doctors.
“The public has seen Nawaz Sharif’s ill face after moving abroad […] PML-N’s female spokesperson make new claims for gaining media’s attention,” she said.
“There is no place for the PIC [Punjab Institute of Cardiology] incident in any civilised society […] the Law was trampled down by the guardians of the Constitution,” she mentioned, adding that the government would take action against those who were responsible for the incident in accordance with the Law.
“We have decided to perform legislation for doctors and paramedics’ protection.”
“Those who have been rejected by the people are talk about toppling the government […] Maulana Fazlur Rehman has failed in his mission, his negative agenda has failed […] Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s thinking approach has always been negative,” she added.
She pointed out that inquiries were being conducted by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the political prisoner, and a special aircraft was used for the political prisoner.
“Previous governments had crippled the economy [but now] positive reports about the economy are being [issued] at global level […] the economy has moved towards betterment under the leadership of Imran Khan.”
The special assistant also expressed commitment to fully empower women to project a soft and progressive image of Pakistan.
Dr Awan said the present government has put the economy on the right track and its benefit will be extended to the masses in the form of relief.
The Special Assistant said the government was committed to promote small and medium enterprises and ensure ease of doing business.
She said the people have rejected the politics of opposition parties which was based on vested interests.
