Summary The worst energy crisis in the country continues as people have to bear long hours of power outage.
The duration of power outage in all major cities has been increased to 12 hours a day while in rural areas it has been increased to 20 hours.Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is facing loadshedding for more than 16 hours a day and power comes for an hour after every two to three hours of loadshedding.The residents of Quetta are suffering from six to eight hours a day of consistent power outage. In various cities of Punjab 10 to 16 hours load shedding has crippled the cycle of life.The situation is no different in Karachi and in various areas of the city people spent the night with intermittent supply of power. The KESC announced that it had restored its previous load shedding after getting furnace oil supply.
