Summary The MQM is observing a day of mourning today against the murder of its leader Liaquat Qureshi.
Addressing a press conference in Nine Zero, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Deputy Convenor Dr Farooq Sattar said that the MQM members were being shot since Sindh’s former interior minister had said why no MQM member had been killed.He said that the government had issued a licence to kill to criminals in Karachi.Qureshi, a former Muttahida Quami Movement member of the Sindh Aseembly, was shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists near Maskan Chowrangi on Friday night when he was on his way to his home.
