Woman claims she was raped during surgery at Lahores Services Hospital
Police have registered an FIR against unidentified persons and started investigation.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A 35-year-old woman from Syedpur area of Lahore has alleged that some unidentified persons raped her in the operation theater of Lahore’s Services Hospital during surgery, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
The woman has lodged a formal complaint with the Shadman Police, in which she said that she was sexually assaulted on November 24 in the operation theater of the Services Hospital while she was unconscious from the anesthesia during a surgery.
Police have registered an FIR against unidentified persons and started investigation.
Punjab’s Health Minister Yasmeen Rashid has taken notice of the incident and formed a committee to probe the matter. Rashid said that if the suspects are found to be guilty then they would be taken to task as per the law.
