Cardiology hospitals are very few and are primarily in metropolises, far flung from smaller cities and villages where cases of heart diseases are relatively high. Some of these hospitals are Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, and Shifa Heart Centre.
