I traveled to Bani Gala on helicopter to save people from inconvenience

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday held a detailed meeting with a delegation of senior journalists.

During the meeting, he said that as soon as the accountability begins, people will say that democracy is in danger but said across the board accountability would be carried out and no recommendations will be made in Pakistan.

Khan said that the country cannot progress without accountability.

The prime minister went on to say that previous rulers have spent billions of rupees from the national exchequer on their foreign visits and used bullet proof vehicles in the past, adding that he would only make a foreign visit if Pakistan is benefitted.

Imran Khan also expressed his full support for Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar and said that Buzdar is a brave man. He also requested the senior journalists for three months time to his government and then criticize.

Clear change would be witnessed in the next three months in good governance, however, he asked the the journalists to criticise as criticism help resolve issues.

He said: “I travelled to Bani Gala on helicopter to save people from inconvenience.”

Regarding DPO Pakpattan, PM Imran while expressing satisfaction with the Supreme Court’s notice of the incident, said that the facts about the tranfer would be revealed in the Supreme Court (SC).

The prime minister also turned down French president s call twice during the meeting.
