Qureshi terms opposition's unnatural alliance futile

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice-chairman and likely foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Monday termed opposition’s unnatural alliance ‘futile’.

Qureshi was talking to media here in Islamabad today.

Terming House patchy without opposition, Shah expressed desire to take opposition on board on all issues. “We will give due respect to the good advises of opposition. It is part of our [read PTI] policy to uplift the honour of the parliament as Pakistan continues to face myriad challenges”, Shah told reporters.

On formation of government in Punjab, Shah revealed name for nominee for Punjab Chief Minister has not been finalized yet.

Shah also expressed grave concerns over water scarcity in the region.

On foreign policy, Qureshi apprised attendants Pakistan enjoys deep and healthy ties with Saudi Arabia. “Saudi Arabia will continue to side with us [read Pakistan] in future”, sensed Qureshi.
