ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) General Secretary Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari and Information Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor have on Sunday demanded Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to resign from his post in order to ensure the transparent investigation of Panama scandal.
PPP leaders said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ministers will get strong answers if they do not stop their foul language. They further added that PM should keep a check on his workers’ verbal abuses.
Nayyar Hussain Bokhari made it clear that nobody will be able to stop PPP jialas (diehard party workers) if they get out of control.
Chaudhry Manzoor unearthed the alleged corruption in Neelum-Jhelum hydropower Project and said that national treasure has been given a shock of ‘Rs 250 billion volts’.
PPP leaders continued that PM Nawaz could not prove himself innocent in front of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan. Two judges declared that Nawaz Sharif is not honest and righteous and three have demanded further investigations, PML-N is celebrating God knows which verdict, they added.
PPP also staged a sit-in in Hyderabad against loadshedding where Maula Bakhsh Chandio provoked people to raise anti-government slogans.
Maula Bakhsh Chandio said that the judges of apex court have said that Nawaz Sharif is dishonest, it is better for him to resign now. He also accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan of making secret alliance with PML-N.
