ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali said on Wednesday that they live in a country where police stations are auctioned, reported Dunya News.

CJ was presiding the bench on corruption case of wheat, against former food minister Asfandyar Kakar. His lawyer Iftikhar Gillani said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) does not have any proof against Kakar. He said that store incharge Hussain Afridi was accused of corruption in wheat and he was under arrest.

Chief Justice gave remarks that if there were no evidences against suspect Asfandyar Kakar, then NAB court should be directed to give verdict in three months. NAB’s lawyer asked for three months to get directions. The next hearing on the case would be held in two weeks.
