ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Sources indicate that the letter written by Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in regards to the Panama Leaks issue was a spoof, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.

Unidentified persons wrote the letter on a plain piece of paper giving an impression that Shah had written it to the PM and issued it in the media.

Sources state that Syed Khurshid Shah has never written any letter to the PM on a plain piece of paper as he always used the letterhead of the Opposition Leader for correspondence.

Representative of the Opposition Leader confirmed that the letter was fake and demanded that investigation be made to know how the letter was issued in the first place.
