NEW DEHLI (Web Desk) – Pathankot Air Base in India was attacked by militants on January 2, 2016 which resulted 7 casualties of Indian security personnel while following the investigation, Indian Parliamentary Committee presented a report on Wednesday which stated that the very attack was a complete failure of Indian intelligence agencies, reported Dunya News.

The report released by parliamentary committee for defence affairs revealed that role of Punjab Police in the attacks is suspicious and commendable, the committee questioned that how terrorists did successfully entered the base despite cosntant security warnings to ensure foolproof security of the base.

The report also stated that despite continuous threats and warnings by SP PathanKot the security agencies failed to prepare and counter the attack in an organised way.

India s security agencies lack the ability to cope with terrorism related problems the country is facing, the report added.
